ABOUT WEBSTER-ROCK HILL MINISTRIES
OUR MISSION
We seek to partner with, assist, and aid those in need, while offering tools and services to empower them to pursue resolutions to their present circumstances.
OUR HISTORY
Our community is filled with many blessings but also many needs. In 1982, concerned citizens, ministers, and community organizations recognized that some of our neighbors needed assistance. Together, they organized Webster-Rock Hill Ministries so our community could work together to get our neighbors the needed support. On August 21, 1982, Webster-Rock Hill Ministries was chartered as a non-profit (501(c)3) corporation to assist the elderly, unemployed, people with disabilities, and people with low incomes.
Webster-Rock Hill Ministries is financially supported by contributions from private donors, foundations, businesses, community/religious organizations, and fundraising events. We have many church partners, but there is no religious religious affiliation required to get help. We give food to all who ask.

OUR VOLUNTEERS
WRHM operations depend on our over 80 volunteers! We only have 2 part-time employees. Every day, a crew of 6 - 12 shows up to answer the phones, take orders from clients, and pack groceries to give them. Volunteers run all of our events including the Thanksgiving and Christmas meal giveaways, our annual trivia night, the Christmas Adopt-a-Family program, the coat giveaway, and everything else that needs to be done. Unloading trucks full of food on pallets. Stocking pantry shelves. Picking up bread donations from generous local donors. Managing this website. Managing the community garden. They do it all!
